ZVEX makes effects pedals and amps for guitar and bass and we've been at it since 1995. Our line is a unique blend of no-rules engineering and artistic whim, from our affordable Vexter series to our hand painted and custom designed items.
This Vertical Fuzz Factory sports Mark II transistors, which were used after we ran out of Spam Cans. They were used for a year or two before we eventually switched to 2N404. We have released short runs of MK II Fuzz Factories before when we've been able to find them, and people love 'em. Think of them as the bridge between the "Spam Can" era and the modern era.
