ZVEX makes effects pedals and amps for guitar and bass and we've been at it since 1995. Our line is a unique blend of no-rules engineering and artistic whim, from our affordable Vexter series to our hand painted and custom designed items.
Our famous ultra-transparent boost pedal made with odds-n-ends amp parts: tantalum and film caps, and a big ol' red Würth Elektronik electrolytic cap from Germany. Additionally, we added a tall foot switch for easier engagement and a lovely off-white knob. She's a beaut, Clark! Call me zany, but I think this one sounds a little more sparkly than the stock units. Hand-assembled in Minneapolis.
